Any tips or ideas for prom makeup and hair?

Hi Everyone, I have my senior prom coming up soon.
I will be wearing a red long strapless dress and its hard to explain but some kind diamond on the sidee/front….and with silver high heels. So I was wondering how should I do my hair, up or down? Any ideas for make up?

up hair.
choose one–focus on eyes or lips but NOT both.
keep up hair simple so that when you look back on pics in 20 years, you dont look completely ridiculous.
simple = elegant = classy
what about black high heels?
