How do I get this hairstyle?

What are the lengths? What should I do? Are the sides done with clippers or scissors?

Styling wax
It would be easier to have someone else do this for you. Wet your hair and use the comb to lift very small sections. Cut your hair to be the same length over the entire area of your head. Then trim the sides in the same manner but slightly shorter.
Blow dry your hair in the direction you want it to be styled. Take a dime sized amount of styling wax and rub it between your hands until it has evenly distributed. Work the product into your hair, focusing on the top and adding a small amount to the sides.
Remember your hair will only really look like this if you have the same texture as David Beckham. You cannot expect your hair to do this if it is very curly or coarse or have cowlicks.
