    for crimping there’s normally a hot iron similar to a straight iron but instead of smooth plates they’re bumpy… But tiny braids ( https://www.braidsbysabrina.com/gallery_jamaican.htm ) can make hair look crimped/wavy if you leave it in for a couple days. Especially if you wash your hair while they’re in and let it dry.

    As for hair styles I like, I like loose buns with some waves hanging down. (similar to last 2: https://www.newhairstyletrends.com/2011/04/classic-wedding-hairstyles-are-best-wedding-hair-model/ )
